Originally founded in 2019, Mack Basketball is a premier basketball training program dedicated to developing athletes of all skill levels. We offer individual and group training, as well as competitive AAU teams.

Giavonni Mack is the founder of Mack Basketball, a former collegiate and professional basketball player who has dedicated his career to coaching and developing athletes. See his bio for more info.

We are located in Indian Trail, NC and serve the following Charlotte areas – Weddington, Waxhaw, Matthews, Ballantyne, Indian Land, Huntersville, Concord, Fort Mill, etc. Our AAU team practices are held at various locations in the area.

We offer training for girls and boys of all ages – from elementary school athletes just starting out to high school and collegiate athletes looking to elevate their game. 

Mack Basketball offers skill development for girls and boys. The Team Mack Basketball AAU program is primarily for girls. We do not have any boys teams at this time.

All of our training costs can be found on the Mack Basketball app (found on the App Store and Google Play Store). Private training sessions cost $120 each and group training sessions cost $75 each. We have packages and memberships available that make sessions more cost effective as well.

A few of our Team Mack age groups play on the Under Armour Circuit with UA Rise.

Team Mack teams play in a variety of tournaments hosted by: Insider Exposure, RISE, BOND, LBI, Phenom Hoops, NTBA, Under Armour and more.

AAU tryouts are held one-two months before each season starts. For example. The spring/summer season starts in March and tryouts are usually in late January/early February.

Sessions with all of our Mack Basketball trainers are between an hour and hour and a half.

We do offer summer camps that are historically for 4-5 days in June. Registration for summer camps can be completed on the Mack Basketball app!

Mack Basketball is the overall basketball program that provides training, development, and competitive opportunities for players at various skill levels. It focuses on skill enhancement, team play, and basketball IQ through structured programs, camps, and leagues.

Team Mack AAU is the competitive travel team under Mack Basketball that participates in AAU-sanctioned tournaments. This team is designed for advanced players looking for high-level competition, exposure to college scouts, and opportunities to play against top-tier talent.

In short, Mack Basketball is the umbrella program that develops players, while Team Mack AAU is the elite travel team competing in official AAU events.
